Beautiful Weather for another week

But next rain chance could mess with Halloween

As Bob Dylan once said, “You don’t need a weatherman”…but I will change the lyrics to say “when you see a big H on the map and it’s not moving”. So I’ve taken the cue and I’m off visiting my alma mater which I haven’t seen since 2010! Because I’m so pumped by this trip to where great forecasters were formed, I just had to send you a great forecast.

The bottom line is nothing is changing in the next week as we are in for another lovely weekend. Low temperatures will come up a bit towards the end of next week. Keep watering anything you want to live in the garden, but the fire weather danger is pretty minimal, at least on the Northshore where winds won’t amount to much. On the Southshore, highs will be just a bit cooler, it will be a bit more breezy and the lows will be 10 degrees higher.

AT-A-GLANCE LOUIS ARMSTRONG AIRPORT

Notice the chance of showers creeping in by next Friday evening and Saturday as the pattern finally breaks and the winds shift to the south bringing in moisture. This could cause problems for those trick or treaters, but we’ll recheck the timing of the showers next week.

LONG-RANGE RAMBLINGS

The first few days of November looks warm and fairly humid with partly cloudy skies. Highs low 80s, lows mid 60s, Might have to be concerned about fog. Cold front approaches about Nov. 4 with showers and thunderstorms.
